After two years of gathering public input, the City of Hamilton is preparing to present draft updates to the City’s zoning code and zoning map for public review, along with corresponding updates to the Comprehensive Plan’s Future Land Use Map. These updates are grounded in the community vision and guiding themes outlined in Hamilton’s Comprehensive Plan. The proposed updates are scheduled for public hearings before the Hamilton Planning Board, Zoning Commission, and City Council in December 2025 and January 2026. Review and Comment on Draft Updates
The proposed amendments, if approved by Hamilton City Council, will update the City's zoning code, zoning map, and Land Use Framework & Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan. Below are ways you can learn more about and provide comment on the the draft updates.
